Here's a "Shout-Out," for Mr. Pitiful (Band):

Mr. Pitiful, hails from Chicago. He's looking to form a band. Today, he sent me an e-mail, asking me if I'd give a song he'd written (& shot a video of) a listen. "Let me know what you think," he wrote, in the e-mail.

The song, and video, are entered in "The Underground Contest," @YouTube.

After watching & listening to the video, I said to myself, "This song, sure enough, speaks to me. It needs to be posted on, Adam's Songs."

Give a Listen, peeps, and then go give Mr. Pitiful a great big "Shout out"

It's raining here, in New York! And, Mr. Pitiful hit the nail on the head!....

Here are the lyrics, if you'd like to sing-along:

"When The Rain Come"

When I was younger
I wished the world was a sunny day
So I could lay out in the sun
And the warmth and the love would never go away

But when the rain come
Couldn't keep the tears from my eyes
That's when I'd turn to my mama
She said, "Don't worry son. No rain ain't no reason to cry."

Then, she said:

If the sun don't come out tomorrow
It will shine soon again
And the sun probably come out tomorrow
So take your time try to enjoy the rain

I'm still a young man
I've got a couple hairs turning grey
But I've had my share of time in the sun
To laugh and to breathe and to love and soak in the day

But when the rain come
And it pours down hard on my soul
I just think back to my mama
And repeat to myself what she sang to me so long ago

And, I sing to myself:

If the sun don't come out tomorrow
It will shine soon again
And the sun probably come out tomorrow
I best take my time, try to enjoy the rain

Sometimes it rains so hard
It keeps on coming for days and days and days
I find myself on my knees praying to God
That he gives me the strength to remember what my mama say

When I'm an Old Man
And I have reached my final days
I know that I'll look back and smile
On my life as a gift from the Lord that is worthy of praise

But when that last rain come
And I'm nearing to my time
I'll close my eyes and see my mama calling me
To get ready to join in the love of the warmest sunshine

But, until then I'll sing:

If the sun don't come out tomorrow
It will shine soon again
And the sun probably come out tomorrow
I best take my time, try to enjoy the rain
Oh, the sun probably come out tomorrow
I best take my time, try to enjoy the rain

Cuz, I only got so much time. (2006/Mr. Pitiful; Chicago, Illinois)

Here's the Video....enjoy!....

Peace out, with Love,
adam.
